ചടങ്ങിൽ മുൻ ചീഫ് സെക്രട്ടറി സി പി നായര്‍ അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിച്ചു. ശശി തരൂരിന്റെ ‘ഇന്ത്യ ശാസ്ത്ര; നമ്മുടെ കാലത്തെ ചില രാഷ്ട്ര ചിന്തകള്‍’ എന്ന പുസ്തകം ടി പി. ശ്രീനിവാസൻ പ്രകാശിപ്പിച്ചു. പൗലോ കൊയ്‌ലോയുടെ ഏറ്റവും പുതിയ നോവല്‍ ദ സ്‌പൈയുടെ മലയാള പരിഭാഷ ‘ചാരസുന്ദരി‘ ആസൂത്രണ ബോർഡ് അംഗം ഡോ. ബി. ഇക്ബാൽ പ്രകാശിപ്പിച്ചു. രവി ഡി സി സ്വാഗതവും ആർ രാമദാസ് നന്ദിയും പ്രകാശിപ്പിച്ചു.

DC Books Mega Book Fair commenced at Putharikandam Maidan Trivandrum
Former ISRO Chief G.Madhavan Nair inaugurated the DC Books Mega Book Fair commenced at Putharikandam Maidan Trivandrum. He announced that he will be writing his autobiography which chronicles his experiences at ISRO and the major events that had touched his life. He announced this in the inaugural speech at the fair. He also added that responding in social media without knowing the facts is dangerous.
The event was presided over by former chief secretary C.P.Nair. T.P.Sreenivasan released the book titled India sashtra:namude kalathe chinthakal written by Shashi Tharoor. The translation of Paulo Coelho’s much acclaimed latest novel ‘The Spy’ under the title ‘Charasundari ‘ was also released at the fair by Dr.B.Iqbal. Ravi Deecee welcomed the crowd and R.Ramdas rendered the Vote Of Thanks.
